Each year Eurobasket.com and WCL Sports Management takes a team of Americans overseas to compete against Professional teams in their pursuit of a contract. In 2016, the ESL Select Team coached by Allen Mkrtychyan of Russia went 9-1 through a rigorous 10 games in 10 day schedule across Germany. Their lone loss coming at the hands of Bernau in the last game of the trip. Players from that team went on to play in several countries including Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, and Brazil. This year a new group of 14 players will make the trip to Germany to compete against professional level teams. Let’s meet the team.
